Description
The TIM-POWER 1 is a multi-socket mains distribution block, the first reference in the POWER range designed by Absolue Créations. It is intended for the electrical supply of the components of a hi-fi system or home cinema installation, with the aim of distributing current evenly between each socket.
The internal conductor is 1.5 mm² tinned multi-strand copper, insulated with a PVC and polyamide core. The connectors are 24K gold-plated Furutech FI-11, recognised for the quality of their electrical contact. The chassis is made of aluminium, complemented by a damping resin side panel, and the whole unit incorporates an energy stabilisation function designed to limit the disturbances transmitted to connected devices.
This distribution block is aimed at hi-fi or home cinema enthusiasts with a mid-range or high-end system, for whom the quality of the power supply affects the sound reproduction. It is particularly suited to those seeking a coherent complement to already carefully chosen cabling.
The TIM-POWER 1 is available in a 4 or 6 Schuko socket version, and additional length can be added in 30 cm increments.

What to check before buying used
For a used purchase, you should check the condition of the Schuko sockets and the Furutech connector, ensuring there is no play or oxidation at the contacts, as well as the good condition of the cable and its insulation along its full length. Checking that the screws are properly tightened and that the aluminium chassis and damping resin side panel are intact is also recommended before putting it back into service.
