Description
The TIM-Revolution is a speaker cable from Absolue Créations, a French brand which continues with this range the work begun on the ES-TIM series. It is a speaker cable intended to connect an amplifier to speakers, available individually or in longer runs for home cinema configurations.
The conductors are made of ultra-pure oxygen-free copper, then cold-tinned, a process designed to limit alteration of the metal during manufacture. Each conductor is connected to its connector without soldering, an assembly method intended to preserve the original qualities of the metals involved rather than blending them at a soldered joint. The plugs are genuine Furutech, available in banana, spade, or both terminations.
This cable is aimed at hi-fi and home cinema enthusiasts seeking an open sound reproduction, with good separation of planes and refined timbres. It suits a classic stereo system as well as a multichannel setup, thanks to the option of ordering it in longer lengths.
The cable is offered in several standardised lengths, from 2 x 1 m to 2 x 2.8 m, with the option of adding extra 30 cm increments. Manufacturing is carried out in France.

What to check before buying used
The Furutech connectors deserve careful visual inspection: the spades should remain firmly tightened on their terminals and the bananas should show no sign of oxidation or play when inserted. As the conductors are connected without soldering, it is worth checking that no wire has come slightly loose from its plug through repeated connections. Inspecting the shielding and sheath along the full length also helps to rule out any pinching or crush marks that could affect signal quality.
