The AIR 70 is a wireless speaker from Advance Paris, designed to stream dematerialised music stored on smartphones, tablets, computers or digital media players. It belongs to the brand's AIR range, conceived to offer a wireless alternative to traditional wired hi-fi systems.
Its main strength lies in the adoption of the Apt-X Bluetooth codec, compatible with all A2DP Bluetooth devices. This codec applies a compression ratio of just 4:1, allowing sound reproduction close to that of an audio CD. FLAC, Apple Lossless or PCM files are thus reproduced almost identically to the original, while MP3 or AAC files with a bitrate below 350 kbits/sec are transmitted without further decoding, avoiding any additional signal degradation.
