The MyConnect 250 is a hybrid integrated amplifier from Advance Paris, designed to centralise digital, analogue and streaming sources within a single unit. It features a CD player, an FM/DAB tuner and an AKM AK4490 DAC compatible with USB 32-bit / 384 kHz and DSD 2.8 / 5.6 MHz, as well as network connectivity (Wi-Fi / Ethernet) allowing you to stream Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer and internet radio via Vtuner through the Advance PlayStream app, or to use Spotify Connect. Bluetooth is available as an option via the X-FTB01 or X-FTB02 modules.
Its hybrid design combines a valve preamplifier, which processes the signal before it enters the amplification stages, with a transistor-based power section operating in class AB. Two toroidal transformers positioned on either side of the chassis power the unit, delivering a stated output of 2 x 130 W into 8 ohms. The frequency response extends from 0 Hz to 80 kHz, with a harmonic distortion rate below 0.006% at 1 kHz and channel separation greater than 110 dB, values that reflect accurate, low-coloration sound reproduction. The unit manages 3 speaker zones (A/B/C, up to 6 speakers) and offers two subwoofer outputs, as well as Pre-OUT outputs in balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA.
The connectivity covers a wide range of sources: MM/MC phono input, HDMI, multiple analogue RCA inputs, AES-EBU, USB for computer, optical and coaxial inputs, an RJ45 port and headphone outputs. This level of equipment is aimed at a music enthusiast wishing to bring together a turntable, digital sources and streaming services within a complete hi-fi system, without cluttering their living room with multiple units.

What to check before buying used
The valve preamplifier deserves particular attention: check the condition of the valves, their operating noise and the absence of microphony, given that they are wear parts intended to be replaced after a certain number of hours of use. Also check that the multiple inputs (phono, optical, coaxial, USB) and the Wi-Fi/Ethernet network module work correctly, as well as the connection to the integrated CD player if the unit is fitted with one.
