Description
The MyConnect 60 is an all-in-one integrated amplifier that brings together a power stage, a WiFi and Ethernet network player, an FM tuner, a DAB+ tuner, a CD player, a USB player and a Bluetooth receiver in a single unit. On its own, it forms the heart of a complete hi-fi system, without the need for multiple separate sources.
The power stage operates in class AB, a design intended to combine the refinement of class A with the efficiency of class B. It delivers 2x48 W into 8 ohms and 2x70 W into 4 ohms, with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 45 kHz, harmonic distortion below 0.1%, a signal-to-noise ratio above 92 dB and channel separation above 110 dB. The digital-to-analogue converter is a TI PCM model, and the power supply relies on an oversized toroidal transformer designed to support the power stage over the long term.
The built-in network player allows streaming of your own music library from a PC, Mac or NAS, as well as streaming services such as Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz or radio stations via TuneIn, in addition to AirPlay. The multi-room function allows different sources to be played in several rooms simultaneously.
Connectivity includes three stereo analogue inputs, one of which is switchable to an MM phono input, two optical SPDIF inputs, one coaxial SPDIF input, a Bluetooth input, a USB-A port, a fixed or variable PRE-OUT output and a SUB output for an active subwoofer. Speakers connect via four screw terminals, compatible with bare wire or banana plugs. A USB Upgrade port on the rear panel allows the unit to be upgraded, and network connection is via Ethernet or WiFi.
This model is aimed at hi-fi enthusiasts wishing to centralise analogue and digital sources in a single unit, particularly those who own a turntable thanks to the dedicated MM phono input, or who want to equip several rooms via the multi-room function, without multiplying separate components.

What to check before buying used
The motorised volume potentiometer may develop crackling or a channel imbalance at low levels after several years of use: testing across the full range, including at low settings, is recommended. The CD tray and optical unit should be checked for playback across several discs, including near the end of a disc. It is also worth confirming that the WiFi module and DAB+ tuner receive correctly, as these circuits can become loose or lose sensitivity over time. Finally, the rear connectors (speaker outputs, RCA sockets) should be free of oxidation or looseness.
