Description
The Amina Sapphire 375 is an invisible in-wall speaker, intended to be installed behind a surface and then covered with plaster, wood, leather or laminate, without revealing any grille or fascia. It belongs to the family of so-called "invisible" speakers, designed to disappear completely from the décor while providing sound diffusion in a room.
It incorporates two separate sound generators, one 32 mm and one 52 mm, for signal reproduction. Its frequency response is stated as 50 Hz to 20 kHz at -6 dB, with an impedance of 6 ohms and a sensitivity of 83 dB. It accepts a rated power of 75 W and a maximum power of 150 W, for a maximum sound pressure level of 101 dB. These figures place the speaker in a background or ambient listening role rather than one aimed at high sound output.

What to check before buying used
As the invisible membrane is covered with filler or plaster when fitted, check the finished surface for cracks or crazing, which would indicate detachment or impact damage. The two 32 mm and 52 mm sound generators should be tested separately at low and then high power to detect any rubbing or loss of treble output. The frame and rear fixings, which are stressed during removal, warrant a rigidity check before any reinstallation.
