TAC 34

The TAC 34 is a tube integrated amplifier, designed as one of three variants of a single mechanical and aesthetic concept from the T.A.C. brand, alongside the 88 and 300 Class A models. It combines in a single chassis the preamplification function and the power stage, intended to drive a pair of speakers directly.

On the technical side, the input stage is based on two dual triodes which handle the signal's phase inversion at this level, an architecture that simplifies the circuit by avoiding the need for a transformer or a separate stage for this function. Output power is entrusted to two EL34 tubes per channel, in a push-pull arrangement, a classic configuration in tube audio that helps limit distortion and achieve higher sustained power than a single-ended design.
