The Consonance Tristan is a stereo transistor integrated amplifier, designed to combine preamplification, phono stage and power amplification within a single unit. This technology combines the advantages of Class AB and Class A: it aims to reproduce the sonic linearity characteristic of Class A operation, without requiring the substantial electrical current that Class A usually demands.
