Onix A25

The A25 transistor integrated amplifier from British manufacturer Onix, delivering 2 x 50 watts, is a fine illustration of the Anglo-Saxon approach to compact, carefully engineered electronics that remain accessible. It features balanced inputs. Its power supply, built around a 350 VA toroidal transformer and four 6,800 MF capacitors, appears substantially oversized in relation to the power delivered.
