Atacama Evoque

Atacama's Evoque is not a rack delivered as a single piece, but a system to be assembled. The principle is simple: you choose one or more shelves, then one or more sets of four uprights, and stack the levels according to the number of units to be accommodated. A listening system that evolves can thus gain an additional shelf without the whole rack needing to be replaced.

The shelves are made of bamboo, available in two finishes: natural bamboo, lighter in tone, and dark bamboo, with a darker stain. The Evoque Eco 60-40 SE2 reference is available in both finishes, leaving the possibility of mixing or matching levels. The uprights are sold in sets of four in satin black finish, with a choice of height, it is this parameter that determines the free space between two shelves and therefore the room available for a bulky amplifier or a turntable under a cover.

The range is split into two families. The Evoque Eco line covers the 14-16, 35-40 and 60-40 SE2 shelves; the Evoque line, the 24-16, 44-16, 60-40 and 110-40 shelves. Each reference corresponds to a distinct shelf format, allowing width and depth to be matched to the units actually placed on it rather than settling on a single size for the whole rack.

This type of support suits anyone installing a separates system in a living room who wants the rack to follow the configuration rather than the other way round: source, amplification and any additional units each get their own shelf. The modular logic also appeals to setups likely to move, as a house move or a change of room does not mean starting from scratch.
