Description
The HMS 2 X600 is a speaker stand from Atacama, designed in collaboration with Proac, the English loudspeaker designer. This partnership shaped the product's design towards a precise use: housing high-end bookshelf speakers under optimal conditions of stability and coupling to the floor.
The structure relies on thick steel, assembled using high-strength fixings. This construction choice aims to limit unwanted resonances and provide a rigid base, a necessary condition for the speaker placed on top to deliver its sound response without colouration added by the stand itself.
