Atacama SL400

The Atacama SL400 are steel speaker stands, sold in pairs, designed to accommodate compact bookshelf-type speakers. Their purpose is to position the speakers at a height suited to seated listening while providing a stable base decoupled from the floor, a necessary condition for the speakers to deliver their true performance.

The 400 mm height corresponds to a listening position designed for bookshelf speakers installed in a standard configuration. The columns are fillable (Atabite technology): they can be loaded with material to increase their mass and dampen mechanical resonances, which limits parasitic vibrations transmitted to the speaker. The plates, made from laser-cut 5 mm carbon steel, comprise a top plate of 225 × 225 mm and a base of 305 × 305 mm, offering a good bearing surface and stability. Decoupling is achieved via adjustable spikes combined with gel pads, allowing the level to be adjusted on an uneven floor and absorbing vibrations. Each stand supports a maximum load of 15 kg.

These stands are aimed at users of compact or bookshelf speakers wishing to improve the stability and grounding of their setup, particularly in a living room or listening room where the speakers do not rest on a suitable piece of furniture.
