The Sirocco 2.24 is a hi-fi floorstanding speaker from the French brand Atohm, built according to a 2.5-way architecture with bass-reflex loading. It incorporates two C150 DCR08 bass-midrange woofers and a WSD20 DND04F tweeter, both developed in-house by the manufacturer.
The crossover is based on a first-order electrical slope with impedance compensation, a design that favours time coherence between the drivers. The frequency response extends from 40 Hz to 25 kHz, with a crossover frequency set at 3.5 kHz between the bass-midrange drivers and the tweeter. With a sensitivity of 89 dB/2.83V/1M and an impedance of 6 ohms, it accepts a rated power of 100 Weff (300 W peak). The cabinet is made of 18 mm thick MDF.
