Description

What to check before buying used
Check the connectors (banana plugs or spade connectors): poor crimping or oxidation at the contact points is enough to degrade the connection or cause intermittent cut-outs. Inspect the flexible PVC sheath along its entire length, particularly at the ends, for cracks, sharp bends or crush marks that could expose the copper strands. Also check that shielding and polarity on both channels remain consistent, in case the cable was cut down or re-terminated by a previous owner.
