Description
The Atoll ST200 Signature is a network player paired with a digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), designed and manufactured in France. It allows playback of digital sources over a network as well as high-definition streaming services, and can function as a pure source or as a preamplifier within a hi-fi system.
Digital-to-analogue conversion relies on a Burr-Brown PCM1792A DAC, capable of processing streams up to 24-bit / 192 kHz as well as DSD64 and DSD128, for a signal-to-noise ratio of 129 dB limiting residual background noise. The analogue output stage operates in pure Class A without feedback, a design that favours linearity of the amplified signal. On the connectivity side, the unit integrates DLNA/UPnP, USB and Bluetooth, and accesses Qobuz, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music, HighResAudio platforms as well as Internet radio, with AirPlay 2 and Roon compatibility.
