Audeze LCD X

The Audeze LCD-X is an open-back circumaural headphone fitted with planar magnetic transducers. Launched in 2013, it has established itself as a reference in recording studios, used by both artists and sound engineers for its reproduction qualities.

Its design draws on technologies specific to Audeze: Ultra-Thin Uniforce diaphragms, Fazor waveguides and neodymium magnets. These elements aim for high sound resolution with very low distortion. The planar drivers measure 106 mm and offer high efficiency combined with low impedance, which allows the LCD-X to be driven correctly by most headphone outputs, without requiring a particularly powerful dedicated headphone amplifier.
