Audia Flight Flight S 10

The FLS 10 is a high-end stereo integrated amplifier from Audia Flight. Its architecture is based on that of the FLS 4 stereo power amplifier, from which it inherits the technology, speed, and control and power delivery capabilities.

The preamplification stage adopts a symmetrical dual-mono configuration, with a high-quality volume control. The unit offers a balanced output, an unbalanced output, and a fixed output dedicated to recording, as well as three unbalanced inputs and two balanced inputs. Each input can be enabled or disabled independently, its gain adjusted over a range of ± 6 dB, and renamed according to the intended use. This level of adjustment granularity allows the level and configuration of each connected source to be precisely tailored.

The brushed aluminium chassis, with a cover engraved with the Audia logo, is accompanied by a remote control also made of brushed and anodised aluminium. A blue OLED display completes the presentation, in keeping with the unit's high-end positioning.

Thanks to its power and control capabilities inherited from the FLS 4, the FLS 10 is particularly well suited to low-efficiency speakers with a challenging impedance curve, dropping as low as 2 ohms. It is aimed at enthusiasts of demanding stereo setups, with speakers that are difficult to drive and who seek fine control over each source.

The unit can accommodate several optional expansion cards: a phono card with two MM and MC inputs, a card adding two further RCA or XLR inputs, and a DAC card with five inputs (one AES/EBU, one S/P-DIF, two TOSLINK, one USB supporting 32-bit/384 kHz in PCM and DSD 512) paired with a streamer.
