Description
The Coffee USB 72V DBS is a USB A to B digital link cable by AudioQuest, designed to connect a digital source (computer, transport) to a DAC or an audio interface. It is part of a range of cables designed to preserve the integrity of the digital signal during transmission.
The conductor is made of LGC+ (Long Grain Copper+) copper, a material with a structure engineered to limit distortions related to the metal's grain. Insulation is carried out under vacuum, a technique that reduces the influence of the dielectric on the signal, complemented by active polarisation of the insulator (DBS technology), intended to further stabilise the electrical behaviour of the cable. Connections are made using silver solder and silver-plated connectors, two elements aimed at limiting contact losses at the junction points.
