Description
The Diamond 72V DBS is a network cable in RJ45 Ethernet format, intended to connect the elements of a connected audio installation: streamer, music server, internet box or network switch. It belongs to the category of so-called "audiophile" cables, designed to limit electrical disturbances that can affect the quality of the digital signal transmitted over a home network.
Its conductors are made of 100% solid silver (PSS), a metal recognised for its low electrical resistance. The high-density polyethylene dielectric surrounds the conductors in a stable manner over time, which preserves the internal geometry of the cable. The RJ45 connectors at both ends are 100% shielded and incorporate a strain relief, while a carbon-based noise-dissipation system, spread across three layers, aims to absorb stray interference travelling along the cable.
