AudioQuest Forest 48

The Forest 48 is an HDMI cable designed by AudioQuest to connect sources and displays with demanding bandwidth requirements, whether for video or multichannel audio. It is part of the manufacturer's 48 and eARC-Priority HDMI cable range, designed to support the latest video and audio applications.

The cable is built with 0.5% silver-plated copper conductors, direction-controlled, a construction intended to improve the dissipation of radio-frequency noise that can disturb the signal. Its 19 conductors are also oriented to limit this RF noise and keep it away from the most sensitive circuits, a Level 1 noise-dissipation technique specific to this AudioQuest range. It is rated for bandwidth of up to 48 Gbps, spread across four balanced audio/video pairs, enabling support for video resolutions up to 10K as well as 8K/60 and 4K/120 rates, whilst remaining backwards compatible with existing 4K devices. It also handles enhanced audio return channel (eARC), as well as the immersive audio formats Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS-HD Master Audio.
