AudioQuest Vodka 48

The Vodka 48 is an HDMI cable from AudioQuest's eARC-Priority Series, designed to transfer up to 48 Gbps of bandwidth. It allows sources and displays compatible with the latest video and audio standards to be connected, while remaining fully backward-compatible with existing 4K installations.

The 48 Gbps bandwidth is based on an upgrade of the four balanced audio/video channels, increased from 6 to 12 Gbps each. This capacity allows for video transfer up to professional 10K Ultra-HD resolution, with support for resolutions and refresh rates up to 8K/60 and 4K/120. The cable is also compatible with all current HDR standards, including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, found on Ultra-HD Blu-rays and major streaming services. The Long-Grain Copper conductors receive increasing layers of silver plating, a technique that improves noise dissipation by placing the best-performing metal on the outside of the conductor. The cable's 19 conductors, including the eARC and power lines, benefit from directional control that steers electrical noise towards the points where it least disrupts the signal.
