Audio Technica AT-VM95C

The AT-VM95C cartridge is Audio-Technica's entry-level model featuring a Conical stylus. It succeeds well-known references from the AT90 series, including the AT91, AT91R and CN5625AL.

Fitted with a Conical stylus, it offers a good balance between performance and cost. As it shares compatibility with other members of the range, it is possible to upgrade the listening experience simply by changing the stylus: four other vinyl-compatible profiles exist within the series, namely Elliptical, Integral Elliptical, Microlinear and Shibata.

Thanks to their dual moving magnet design, cartridges in the VM95 series offer an almost unlimited service life, as the stylus is replaceable. Thus, rather than buying an entirely new cartridge once the diamond has worn out, it is enough to purchase the appropriate replacement stylus. This interchangeability also allows for upgrading by choosing a higher-grade stylus.

All six cartridges in the VM95 series share the same body (electromagnetic generator), which makes the six types of stylus perfectly interchangeable on this common body.
