The QR3 SE is a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker designed and manufactured in Denmark by Audiovector. It combines a Gold Leaf AMT ribbon tweeter, a midrange driver and a 6-inch woofer based on Pure Piston technology, all complemented by a Q-port bass-reflex system.
The Gold Leaf AMT tweeter covers a frequency range extending up to 105 kHz, with an overall frequency response of 28 to 45 kHz, and incorporates an S-shaped filter known as S-stop. The midrange and woofer, both 6 inches and based on Pure Piston technology, operate as a piston across several octaves of the bandwidth, limiting the distortion typically encountered with other types of diaphragms. The 2.5-way architecture divides the work between these drivers with crossover frequencies set at 400 and 3000 Hz.
