Description
The CCM632 is an in-ceiling speaker from B&W, designed to be installed directly into a ceiling. It belongs to the family of discreet speakers, designed to disappear visually while still delivering quality sound reproduction in a room.
Its key strength lies in the integration of a sealed rear enclosure directly within the speaker's chassis. This design choice limits the acoustic losses that usually occur when the driver radiates into an uncontrolled ceiling void. The intended result is a more controlled sound, even in a compact format of around 150 mm in diameter.
The CCM632 is aimed at those who want to fill a room with sound without visible floor-standing or stand-mounted speakers: kitchen, bathroom, office, or a discreet addition to a home cinema installation. For a used purchase, it is advisable to check the condition of the integrated driver, ensuring the diaphragm shows no deformation or cracks, as well as the condition of the finishing grilles and the mounting kit's fixing system. Checking the integrated rear enclosure, which ensures the system's acoustic sealing, is also recommended before installation.
