Description
The B&W CCM664 SR is a ceiling-mounted speaker designed for in-ceiling installation. Its distinctive feature lies in its dual configuration: it combines two adjustable tweeters and two midrange/woofer drivers with voice coils within a single chassis, allowing it to deliver a full stereo signal from a single installation point, without requiring a separate pair of speakers.
This two-way architecture is built around a 150 mm midrange/woofer with a woven fibreglass cone, paired with a soft dome tweeter. The adjustable orientation of the tweeters allows the sound dispersion to be aimed towards the listening area, a useful feature for a ceiling installation where the dispersion angle cannot be altered by moving the speaker itself.
