The Sonos Beam Gen2 is a connected soundbar designed to accompany a television whilst also streaming music and audio content via the Sonos app. It can be controlled by voice, remote control, or from the dedicated app, and integrates Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for hands-free use.
The device features four woofers dedicated to reproducing midrange, a range essential to vocal clarity, complemented by three passive radiators that reinforce bass presence. Five Class-D digital amplifiers are calibrated specifically for these speakers and the soundbar's acoustic architecture. A speech enhancement mode, accessible from the app, allows dialogue to be made more intelligible, even when voices are quiet or embedded in busy sound scenes.
