Description
The Bluesound HUB is an audio connection box that bridges classic sources, such as a turntable, CD player or TV, with a BluOS speaker system. It allows any source to be streamed into any room fitted with a compatible speaker, without cabling between rooms.
The HUB features a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz per core, responsible for processing and streaming the audio signal over the network. It accepts signals of up to 192 kHz at 16 to 24 bits, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB on line input and distortion below 0.03% between 20 Hz and 20 kHz at -1 dBFS on output. The stated frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz at ±0.3 dB, extending to 50 kHz at -3 dB. Each HUB can simultaneously transmit sound from two devices, one digital and one analogue, and up to four HUBs can be paired on the same home network.

What to check before buying used
The status LED on the front panel should light up normally when powered on: a display fault may indicate an issue with the power supply or an internal board. The USB-C power port is designed for repeated connections, so it is worth checking that it maintains a solid connection without loose contact. The built-in Wi-Fi and network pairing stability are also worth testing over time, as some older units may lose their BluOS connection intermittently.
