Bluesound Node 2025

The Bluesound Node 2025 is a network player streamer designed to stream music from the main streaming services, Internet radio or an SMB network share, without going through a computer. It integrates into an existing hi-fi system by handling digital-to-analogue conversion and distributing sound to an amplifier, active speakers or headphones.

The audio circuit has been redesigned to limit interference and reduce jitter, with an ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC that supports files up to 24-bit / 192 kHz as well as DSD and MQA formats, ensuring faithful reproduction of high-resolution files. The Quad-Core 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex A53 processor handles audio processing and network connectivity. Connection to the home network is via Gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and the device accesses both streaming services (Spotify, Deezer, Qobuz, Tidal) and locally stored files. Bidirectional Bluetooth aptX Adaptive and AirPlay 2 compatibility allow an audio stream to be sent or received from a smartphone, tablet or computer. The THX AAA headphone amp offers a dedicated headphone output, while the HDMI eARC input allows a television to be connected to route sound from the TV to a better audio setup.
