Bluesound Pulse Cinema

The Pulse Cinema is an all-in-one home cinema sound bar from Bluesound, designed to deliver Dolby Atmos sound without the need for multiple subwoofers and satellite speakers. It connects directly to the television via HDMI eARC and also integrates into the BluOS multiroom ecosystem, allowing high-resolution music to be streamed throughout the house from a single device.

Its Dolby Atmos 3.2.2 configuration relies on 16 speakers arranged within the chassis, including dedicated centre channels for dialogue and upward-firing channels responsible for delivering the height effect characteristic of Atmos. This architecture recreates a wide, immersive soundstage from a single unit, without any cabling or additional speakers. Three listening modes, Movie, Music and Late Night, allow the sound to be tailored to the content being watched or the time of listening.

The aluminium chassis and tone-on-tone woven fabric covering contribute to a refined finish, designed to blend discreetly into a living room rather than stand out as visible technical equipment.

The Pulse Cinema is aimed at those who wish to significantly improve their television's sound without installing a complex multi-speaker home cinema system, while retaining the option to expand later. It is equally suited to standalone use or gradual integration into a larger system.

The system is indeed expandable: a pair of Pulse M or Pulse Flex speakers can be paired wirelessly, along with a SUB+ subwoofer, to achieve a full Dolby Atmos configuration with dedicated surround and bass channels. The whole system is controlled via the BluOS Controller app, whether for initial setup or day-to-day multiroom management.
