Bose 151

The Bose 151 speakers are floorstanding speakers designed for both indoor and outdoor installation. They are aimed at those who wish to enjoy stereo sound around a swimming pool, under a veranda or aboard a boat, without sacrificing listening quality to the constraints of outdoor use.

Each speaker incorporates three 6.35 cm full-range drivers built on Bose's Articulated Array system. This configuration delivers coherent stereo sound over a wider listening area than conventional outdoor speakers typically allow, as these usually concentrate sound within a limited zone. In practice, sound quality remains consistent whether you are on the terrace, in the garden or near the pool.

The mounting brackets are adjustable, allowing vertical or horizontal installation depending on the layout of the space. The speakers have also been tested against severe weather conditions: snow, rain, salt exposure and temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C.
