The Bose Acoustimass 3 series V is a speaker system consisting of two cube satellites from the Virtually Invisible series II range and a separate Acoustimass module, responsible for reproducing the low frequencies. This two-piece configuration allows the very compact main speakers to be separated from the subwoofer, which handles the bass.
The cube satellites measure barely 9 cm in height, making them particularly discreet once installed in a room. They can be mounted close to the wall using optionally available brackets, an improvement that saves 5 cm of depth compared with the previous model in the range. The cables connecting the cube satellites to the module and their connectors are worth checking, as are the optional wall brackets, which are often missing or incomplete on used units.
