Description
The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 is a Dolby Atmos-compatible home cinema soundbar, designed to deliver spatial sound without multiplying the number of speakers in the room. It incorporates microphones for voice control and connects to the television to centralise the playback of audio and video sources.
Nine speakers are arranged within the cabinet, including two upward-firing dipole transducers intended to reproduce the vertical effects of Dolby Atmos. PhaseGuide technology directs sound beams towards different points in the room, creating the sensation of sound coming from areas where no speaker is physically present. ADAPTiQ self-calibration allows the acoustic output to be adjusted according to the room's layout. Voice4Video technology extends Alexa's functions to voice control of the television and cable or satellite receiver.

What to check before buying used
On this type of soundbar, you should check that all nine speakers are working correctly, particularly the two upward-firing dipole transducers, as well as the ADAPTiQ calibration, which relies on a functioning microphone.
