Description
The UTS-20 Series II is a table stand from Bose, designed to install a compact speaker on any flat surface. Made of cast aluminium, it offers a stable base allowing the speaker to be positioned at listening height without having to place it directly on furniture.
Its height of 17.8 cm makes it a supplementary stand, designed to slightly raise the speaker rather than to install it on the floor in a living room. What to check before buying used
The fixing of the plate onto the tube is worth checking: the thread or the clip-in system can loosen with repeated handling and create slight play. Also check the condition of the cable groove, sometimes marked or chipped at the edges, as well as the base plate for any signs of impact or deep scratches on the cast aluminium. The non-slip pads under the base, if original, may be hardened or missing depending on use.
