Description
The Cabasse Baltic 5 is a floorstanding speaker fitted with a TCA triaxial coaxial driver bringing together the woofer, midrange and tweeter around a single emission point. This point source principle aims to reproduce a coherent sound whatever the listening angle, by limiting the time delays between the different frequency bands typical of speakers with separate drivers.
The 20 x 10 x 2.5 cm TCA driver combines midrange and woofer/low-midrange diaphragms made from aramid films, with an internal honeycomb structure and rare-earth motors. This design aims for a maximum emissive surface and fixed surfaces limiting diffraction, for homogeneous diffusion from the extreme treble to the bass.
