Cabasse Eole 4

The Eole 4 is a satellite speaker from Cabasse, built around a two-way coaxial driver combining a 29 mm soft dome tweeter with a 10 cm midrange-woofer using P2C technology. This compact format, with a diameter of 130 mm and a weight of 1.3 kg, makes it suited to use as a satellite within a multichannel system, rather than for standalone stereo listening at high volume.

The coaxial design places the tweeter at the centre of the midrange-woofer, an arrangement that favours a coherent and stable sound image regardless of listening axis, an advantage for a satellite often positioned high up or at the edges of a room. With an efficiency of 90 dB for 1 W at 1 m, the speaker remains easy to drive with a modest power amplifier.
