Description
The Lipari 21 is a subwoofer from Cabasse, designed to add bass to a hi-fi or home cinema system without taking up space. Its so-called "superslim" format allows it to slot in vertically against a wall or horizontally under a piece of furniture, a solution designed for rooms where space is limited.

What to check before buying used
On a superslim subwoofer, the suspension of the 21 cm woofer deserves close inspection: it is often the first component to harden or crack with age, particularly on a unit left for a long time under poorly ventilated furniture. Also check that the built-in amplifier does not cut out unexpectedly and that the settings (level, filter, phase) respond normally, as an electronic fault on this type of unit is more costly to repair than to replace.
