The Murano Alto is a 3-way floorstanding speaker designed and manufactured in France by Cabasse. It is built around a tweeter-midrange coaxial driver named BC13, an architecture that combines the reproduction of treble and midrange on a single axis.
This BC13 coaxial driver aims for phase and dispersion coherence between the two registers it covers, a design principle also found on the manufacturer's flagship models. The bass is handled by two 170 mm woofers with honeycomb diaphragms, a cellular structure valued for its rigidity.
