The Orion MC170 is a subwoofer from Cabasse, designed to complement a main speaker system by adding amplitude and depth to the bass channel. It stands out for its diffusion architecture, designed to blend discreetly into a listening room without imposing excessive placement constraints.
Its particularity lies in the positioning of the driver: instead of a classic front-firing woofer, the MC170 adopts a vertical orientation that projects sound downwards across 360°. What to check before buying used
When buying used, it is advisable to check the condition of the 21MT driver, particularly the suspension and the cone, which can wear over time or with intensive use at low frequencies.
