Its technical particularity lies in the nature of its conductor. Silver, although prized for its conductivity, has a crystalline structure whose links between crystal groups can generate distortion phenomena as current passes through. To limit this effect, Siltech purifies the silver by passing it between a molten state and a solid state, then adds a 24-carat gold compound intended to fill the gaps between the crystal groups.
