Description
The Da Vinci V2 MC is a moving coil cartridge from Clearaudio, designed for playing vinyl records in high fidelity systems. Its aluminium body follows a sober design, intended to integrate with the most demanding tonearms.
The cartridge body is coated with a 30-micron extra-hard ceramic protective layer, intended to limit parasitic resonances of the housing. Inside, a patented architecture combines eight magnets generating a high-density directional field, while the coils are made of 24-carat gold and arranged in circular symmetry. The cartridge features a Micro HD cut diamond carried by a boron cantilever, for a total mass limited to seven grammes, and offers a dynamic range of 90 dB.
This model is aimed at vinyl enthusiasts with a high-end turntable and tonearm, seeking consistent and dynamic reproduction on audiophile recordings.
