Clearaudio Smart Matrix Silent

The Smart Matrix Silent is a vinyl record cleaning machine designed by Clearaudio to rid LPs, EPs and singles of dust, chemical pressing residues and dirt accumulated over repeated plays. It is suited both to older records found second-hand and to new pressings, which often retain residues from their manufacturing process.

Its multifunction cleaning arm handles both the application of cleaning fluid and the extraction of residues in a single motion: simply swing it into place to start the cycle, with no further handling required. This arm adjusts to any size of vinyl record or shellac disc, and can be removed without tools to make maintenance or transport of the machine easier. The rigid chassis and bidirectional platter rotation contribute to cleaning stability, while operation is particularly quiet, earning the machine its nickname of "vinyl whisperer". Controls are operated via touch push-buttons, for more intuitive function selection.

This edition uses certain key components from Clearaudio's flagship Professional model, namely the motor, the pump, the cleaning fluid reservoir and the used fluid reservoir.
