Cyrus 40 ST

The Cyrus 40 ST is a high-end network player designed for streaming music playback. It is the most accomplished model in the Cyrus 40 range and relies on the BluOS platform for network audio content distribution, without requiring any additional hardware.

Thanks to BluOS, the unit provides access to services such as Tidal or Spotify, as well as internet radio and podcasts. It can also play music stored on a smartphone, tablet or computer, and stream it to multiple rooms in the house. Playback is lossless up to 24 bit / 192 kHz, with reduced latency.

The heart of the 40 ST is built around an ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chip, a 32-bit DAC that handles the digital-to-analogue conversion of the signal. This architecture, common to Cyrus products, aims for precise and detailed reproduction, from the finest nuances to the most dynamic passages.

The connectivity covers both digital and analogue needs: one digital coaxial input, one digital optical input, two analogue line-level outputs, one digital coaxial output and one digital optical output. The unit also features an RJ45 Ethernet port, a USB A port, as well as a 1 Gbps GigE Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac, 2.4/5 GHz). It is compatible with the Cyrus 40 power supply unit.

The black aluminium casing houses a 5-inch touchscreen protected by toughened glass, with controls only appearing on contact, for a clean interface and simple handling.
