The Dali IO-6 is a closed-back circumaural headphone designed and developed in Denmark. Its closed-back architecture isolates listening from the outside environment and limits sound leakage to the outside, a feature appreciated both when out and about and at home.
It is built around a 50 mm dynamic driver, a generous diameter that favours good bass reproduction and a comfortable sound pressure level. What to check before buying used
The ear cushion foam on the DALI IO-6 compresses and cracks over time: check that it remains supple and free of tears, as it affects both comfort and the stated sound isolation. Also check the headband's movement and the condition of its padding, as well as the jack and detachable cable at their connection points, areas prone to wear. Finally, a listening test on both channels will reveal any imbalance or crackling from the driver.
