Description
The Dali Katch G2 is a wireless portable speaker, designed for mobile listening via Bluetooth. It features an internal digital Class D amplifier paired with two textile dome tweeters and two woofer drivers, complemented by two passive radiators, in a compact and lightweight enclosure.
The Class D amplification delivers 2x25 watts of power, split across the two channels. The 21 mm soft textile dome tweeters, fitted with neodymium magnets, are paired with 89 mm woofer drivers and 73x52 mm passive radiators, with a crossover set at 2300 Hz. Frequency response extends from 49 Hz to 23000 Hz, with a maximum sound pressure level of 95 dB.
In terms of battery life, the Katch G2 claims up to 24 hours of listening on battery power, with a charging time of around 2 hours. With dimensions of 138x268.5x47 mm and a weight of 1.1 kg, it slips easily into a bag to accompany you on your travels.

What to check before buying used
The power button and charging contacts are worth testing first, as poor contact at the connector prevents the unit from switching on. Also check that the battery still holds a reasonable charge: after several years of use, the stated 24-hour battery life may have dropped significantly. Finally, inspect the speaker grilles and the passive radiators on the rear, which are sometimes marked or dented from being carried around.
