Dali Menuet

The Dali Menuet is a compact bass reflex bookshelf speaker, built with a genuine wood cabinet. Its reduced footprint allows it to be placed on a shelf or wall-mounted, while retaining a classic two-way architecture combining a tweeter and a woofer-midrange driver.

The tweeter is a 28 mm soft textile dome, tasked with reproducing high frequencies above 3,000 Hz, the crossover point. The woofer-midrange driver, an 11 cm wood fibre unit, handles the rest of the spectrum down to the bass reflex loading, tuned to 63 Hz. The stated frequency response spans from 59 Hz to 25 kHz at plus or minus 3 dB, a range that reflects a balanced reproduction from bass to extreme treble for a speaker of this size.

With a sensitivity of 86 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, the Menuet requires an amplifier capable of delivering sufficient current to make the most of it; the power handling ranges from 20 to 100 W, and the maximum sound level reaches 105 dB. These figures point towards pairing with a mid-power amplifier, without demanding high raw wattage but requiring good current capability.

This type of speaker is aimed at use in a confined space: bedroom, office, small living room or secondary system, where a discreet format is favoured without giving up a structured two-way listening experience. The compact enclosure allows wall mounting or placement close to a wall thanks to the bass reflex port built into the connection panel.
