Description
The Dali Phantom K60 LP is a 2-way in-ceiling/in-wall speaker designed to blend into a ceiling or wall surface. Its overall depth of just 41 mm and installation depth of 36.5 mm make it a particularly discreet model, intended for installations where the speaker must disappear visually while still delivering refined sound reproduction.
It combines a 152 mm midwoofer with a brushed aluminium cone with a 25 mm soft dome tweeter, with a crossover frequency set at 2400 Hz between the two drivers. The frequency response extends from 52 Hz to 26 kHz, and a front-mounted control allows the tweeter output level to be adjusted between 0 and +3 dB depending on the room's acoustics or listening position. With a sensitivity of 84 dB and an impedance of 8 ohms, it accepts a power handling of between 40 and 150 watts.

What to check before buying used
As this is an in-ceiling/in-wall model with no visible cabinet, the key points to check are the chassis and mounting clamps: make sure they are neither bent nor broken, as these are what hold the speaker securely in the ceiling or wall. The midwoofer cone and tweeter dome should be inspected for tears, dents or signs of moisture damage from installation in a poorly ventilated room.
