Description
The Rubicon 2 is a 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker, designed to deliver rich sound performance in a compact format suited to smaller listening spaces. It combines a 29 mm textile dome tweeter with a 16.5 cm woofer with a wood fibre cone.
The woofer uses SMC technology, a construction that helps reduce distortion. The wood fibre cone forms a lightweight, rigid diaphragm, designed to limit surface resonances and behave more linearly across its frequency range. The crossover frequency sits at 3.1 kHz, with a stated frequency response of 50 Hz to 26 kHz. What to check before buying used
