Description
The Rubikore On Wall is a Hi-Fi on-wall speaker designed to blend discreetly into a stereo or multichannel installation, without sacrificing acoustic performance. Directly inspired by the Dali Kore series, it aims for a compact, unobtrusive format while retaining high-performance electroacoustics.
The speaker pairs a 16.5 cm woofer with a wood fibre cone using SMC (Clarity Cone) technology with a rotatable hybrid tweeter module, comprising a 45 x 17 mm ribbon tweeter and a 29 mm textile dome tweeter. This module can rotate to adapt sound dispersion to a portrait or horizontal orientation, depending on the chosen wall configuration. Frequency response spans from 59 Hz to 34 kHz, with a sensitivity of 88.5 dB/W/m and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms; maximum sound level reaches 108 dB, with filter crossover frequencies at 2.9 and 14 kHz. The reinforced bass-reflex cabinet provides a rigid, inert platform, favourable to the sound precision sought in this type of speaker.

What to check before buying used
On an on-wall speaker of this type, the tweeter module's rotation mechanism deserves particular attention: check that it rotates freely, without excessive play or stiff spots, between the portrait and horizontal positions. Also examine the condition of the woofer cone and the integrity of the suspension, as well as the absence of impact marks on the cabinet, particularly around the wall mounting points. Finally, check the operation of the ribbon and dome tweeters, which are more sensitive to shocks and humidity than the woofer.
