Description
The Dali Rubikore 6 is a 2.5 + 0.5-way bass-reflex floorstanding speaker, designed for demanding hi-fi listening in a stereo configuration or as the front channels of a home cinema system. It relies on a hybrid acoustic architecture combining two distinct tweeter technologies.
The top of the spectrum is handled by a hybrid tweeter combining a 29 mm soft dome and a 17 × 45 mm magnetostatic planar tweeter, a configuration aimed at precise and detailed treble reproduction. Bass and midrange are handled by two 165 mm Clarity Cone woofers, made from wood fibres with SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) technology, intended to reduce distortion. Frequency response spans from 38 Hz to 34 kHz, with crossover frequencies at 800 Hz, 2.6 kHz and 14 kHz. With a sensitivity of 88.5 dB, an impedance of 4 Ω and a recommended power of 40 to 200 W, it can accommodate amplifiers of varying power.

What to check before buying used
The wood fibre Clarity Cone woofers deserve careful inspection: check for cone deformation, cracked surrounds or a sagging spider, signs of intensive use or unsuitable storage. The magnetostatic planar tweeter, more fragile than a conventional dome, should be tested across the full frequency range to rule out any crackling or loss of level. Checking the Maroon High Gloss finish also helps to spot any micro-scratches or knocks on the cabinet corners.
