Dali Rubikore 8

The Dali Rubikore 8 is a 2.5-way + 0.5-way floorstanding speaker of bass-reflex design, positioned at the top of the Rubikore range. It is designed to reproduce a wide soundstage with good dynamics, as part of a high-end stereo or home cinema system.

Its configuration relies on three 165 mm drivers with Clarity Cone diaphragm and SMC Gen-2 technology: two woofers dedicated to bass and one midrange, a distribution that allows the acoustic tasks to be separated and limits interaction between the bass and midrange registers. The top of the spectrum is handled by a hybrid tweeter combining a 29 mm soft dome with a 50 mm magnetostatic planar super-tweeter, a combination intended to extend treble reproduction up to 34 kHz while retaining the smoothness of a classic dome within the audible range. The crossover frequencies, set at 500 Hz, 800 Hz, 2,400 Hz and 14,000 Hz, organise the transition between these four transducers. With a sensitivity of 90.5 dB and an impedance of 4 Ω, the Rubikore 8 accepts a recommended power of 40 to 250 W, leaving a comfortable margin for pairing with amplifiers of varying output.
